There are two ways to air programming on Vacaville Community Television, as a regularly scheduled series or a single special. You will have to come to our television station or contact us to fill out a complete broadcasting agreement based on our policy and procedures.
Single Programs:
If you have a 28- or 58-minute program ready to turn in, download and complete the Single Timeslot Request form and Program Agreement. Hand it in at any time with your tape to the Vacaville Community Television Station Classroom Building "G" located on the Country High School Campus (100 McClellan Street), or mail it to PO BOX 6145 Vacaville, California 95696.
A half-hour long special will air everyday for one week within a month period, then repeated later in time with the same process. You will then be notified with the airtime, and days.
Your show may be submitted in DVD format or MPEG2. Each DVD must be 28 minutes or 58 minutes, with one minute of black or color bars at both the beginning and end of the program. It should have good video and audio, and no control track breaks.
Regularly Scheduled Series:
To apply for a series, submit a Series Timeslot Request form, Program Agreement and pilot tape to the Programming Director at our television station. DVD or MPEG format.
VACAVILLE RESIDENTS:
If you live in Vacaville, California where our television station broadcasts from you are allowed to broadcast for free of charge after signing a producers agreement.
NON-LOCAL RESIDENTS:
If you have a program that is airable and ready, please contact us to learn about sponsorship. You must have someone sponsor your show that lives in the city limit of Vacaville, California.
