ORIENTATION

Learn what our Vacaville Community Television Station has to offer, our equipment, meet our producers, learn how to produce your own television show, learn the basic fundamentals of Film & Television dynamics. Meet the behind the scenes crew of some of your favorite Vacaville Community Television Programs.

BEGINNING FILM CLASS I

Learn and become certified as a Vacaville Community Television Camera Operator. Learn how to point and shoot, use a tripod camcorder, learn about white-balancing, focussing the camcorder, color correction, head-room, zoom techniques in this basic fundamental course. In this course we use Canon ZR600. Once taken this course, you would be able to check out this camcorder for filming capibilities for Vacaville Community Television Programs.

ADVANCE FILM CLASS II

Learn and become certified as a Vacaville Community Television Camera Operator. Learn how to point and shoot, use a tripod camcorder, learn about white-balancing, focussing the camcorder, color correction, head-room, zoom techniques in this basic fundamental course. In this course we use Panasonic DVC60. Once taken this course, you would be able to check out this camcorder for filming capibilities for Vacaville Community Television Programs.

BASIC EDITING COURSE I

Learn the basics in professional editing with our suite programs of Pinnacle Studio Plus, Adobe Premiere, Vegas, and Final Cut Express HD, Final Cut Pro version 6. Learn how to capture video film, add transitions, music, and basic effects to create your project for broadcasting and web streaming.

ADVANCE EDITING COURSE II

Learn some more techniques in editing with our Final Cut Express HD and Final Cut Pro HD software. Learn how to clone yourself, green screen (Chroma Key), Sin-City effect, colored filters, create your own music to fit your video program, add 3D Animated Text using LiveType software and Motion.
